We went down to Myrtle Beach in March of 2008 for our Anniversary trip. It also happened to be Easter Weekend as well.
Before we went down to Myrtle Beach, Trey had his Easter Egg hunt at his pre-school.
After the fun of our Easter Egg hunt, we drove to the beach! It's not like just driving over the bridge from Tom's River to Seaside Heights, that's for sure, but with the ever persistant creation of I73/I74 to Myrtle Beach, it's getting easier and easier with each trip we make. As is usual for Amber and I taking drive anywhere, it started raining when we got down there.
We had fun anyway! Trey and Daddy built a sand castle of sorts with a family of sea horses!
We had fun on the first day down at the beach with Trey playing in the sand. Until the wind started "sand blasting" us. Short day at the beach.
Trey and Daddy went and played at Magiquest at Broadway at the Beach.
It's a pretty neat interactive game that has you going on quests to build up your powers that are activated by your wands. The wands use IR (Infrared) technology to activate various things throughout their play area. It was a lot of fun for both Trey and Daddy! Here we are posing with our wands.
some shots around the place...
Also, over at Broadway, there are rides from the old Pavilion which was torn down last year to make way for some condo monstrosity. Trey loves riding on the rides!
We ate lunch at Margaritaville. Trey got a neat balloon hat.
After lunch, more rides!
That night, we went to the Family Kingdom for Trey to ride some of the rides he loved from last Labor Day. He was tired after a long day but still had a great time, and didn't want to leave when the evening was over.
Wow, a lot of pictures, huh?
I told you we went down to Myrtle twice, didn't I?
