Although we didn't bring the camera to Chuck E. Cheese, Trey had a blast
playing the games with Mommy, Daddy and PawPaw. It was late when we all
got home and then he had a brownie with his birthday candles on it. The
following Monday, we had a party for him at the YMCA in Kernersville. The
party was a "Thomas" themed party and many of his friends from pre-school were
there to help him celebrate!
The husky/pasty guy in the yellow shorts is Walter. The water in the
kiddie pool is FREEZING! (The kids never seemed to notice)
After time in the pool, which felt like it was filled with water from a glacier, we went over to the party area for pizza and games. The first game we played was a variation of pin the tail on the donkey, but it was put the 1 on Thomas. We used the Thomas hats as blindfolds. Trey has really good sense of spatial relationships, because he got it right after being spun around in several directions.
Next up was a pinata... It was a pull the string type, not the hit it with a stick type. (I was very thankful for this as I was holding it!) It took till almost the last string pulled before the goodies fell to the concrete floor.
Then it was time for cake. Trey had a Cookie cake again this year because he is still not really fond of actual cake.
How happy does Trey look with his cookie cake?
It's just no fun unless you get messy!
