Trey is just crazy for Thomas the tank engine! Actually, he's crazy for all trains to be honest. It all started with seeing the train in "Dumbo", and went from there. When we learned that Thomas was going to be coming to the North Carolina Train Museum, we knew we had to take him. Paw Paw Holbrook came with us, but I unfortunately didn't get any pictures of him with us.
Here is Trey and his Mommy and with Daddy waiting in line to get a picture with Thomas. (Click on the images to see larger versions of the pictures)
Here are some shots of Thomas waiting at the station. Of course, we took some pictures of Trey waiting in line to get a picture in front of Thomas. Can you tell he's excited?
No trip to see Thomas is complete without Sir Topham Hatt!
Trey wasn't too thrilled about meeting him though.
Here's Trey in the coach being pulled by Thomas! (do you think he's happy?)
We also got to see the Caboose Train while we were there.
We didn't ride the caboose train on this trip, but I believe we will the next time we go down.
Trey also got to play in an inflatible trampoline/slide
After some time jumping, we went to get our picture taken in front of Thomas!
Here's Trey in the Blue Angel's cockpit simulator. Do we have a future pilot on our hands?
There's tons of interesting stuff there. We took video of the train ride which I will attempt to compile onto a DVD. (Else, I wasted my money on that digital camcorder I bought on Woot! back in February. ) Trey really enjoyed himself as did we all.
